Quranic Exegesis
The Surah can be divided into the following six paragraphs.
قرآنی تفسیر
سورۃ کو مندرجہ ذیل چھ پیراگراف میں تقسیم کیا جاسکتا ہے۔
Verse 1-10
The surah begins with the assertion that the Day of Judgement is certain to come. The Day shall evaluate a person according to his faith and deeds; it shall upgrade many a people and downgrade many of them. As a result of this assessment people shall be divided into three categories: the ashaab-ul-yameen, the ashaab-us-shimaal and the saabiqoon-ul-awwaloon.
آیت 1-10
سورۃ اس دعوے کے ساتھ شروع ہوتا ہے کہ قیامت آنے کو یقینی ہے۔ یہ دن کسی شخص کے ایمان اور اعمال کے مطابق جانچ کرے گا۔ یہ بہت سارے لوگوں کو اپ گریڈ کرے گا اور ان میں سے بہت سے لوگوں کو نیچے لے جائے گا۔ اس تشخیص کے نتیجے میں لوگوں کو تین اقسام میں تقسیم کیا جائے گا: اصحاب ال یامین ، اشعب ہم شمال اور صبیقون الاولون۔
Verse 11-26
Those nearest to the Almighty will be the saabiqoon-ul-awwaloon. The details of the gifts and favours of their Lord which they shall receive in paradise are recounted together with the qualities of the saabiqoon-ul-awwaloon which actually entitled them to these favours.
آیت 11-26
قادر مطلق کے نزدیک سبیقون الاولون ہوں گے۔ ان کے پروردگار کے تحفوں اور احسانات کی تفصیلات جو انہیں جنت میں ملیں گی ، سبیقون الاولون کی خصوصیات کے ساتھ مل کر بیان کیا گیا ہے جو درحقیقت انہیں ان احسانات کا حقدار ہے۔
Verse 27-40
The second place shall be occupied by the ashaab-ul-yameen. A dilineation is made of the bounties and rewards which they shall be blessed with in parardise and their personal high character which made them worthy of this life of bliss.
آیت 27-40
دوسری جگہ پر اصحاب الثمین کا قبضہ ہوگا۔ ایک بے حرمتی انعامات اور انعامات سے بنی ہے جس کی بدولت انہیں جزائے خیر اور ان کے ذاتی اعلٰی کردار سے نوازا جائے گا جس کی وجہ سے وہ نعمتوں کی زندگی کے قابل بن گئے۔
Verse 41-48
The horrible fate of the ashaab-us-shimaal is depicted and a reference is made to a few of their grave sins which led them to this terrible punishment.
آیت 41-48
اشعب us-شمال کی خوفناک انجام کو پیش کیا گیا ہے اور ان کے چند سنگین گناہوں کا حوالہ دیا گیا ہے جس کی وجہ سے وہ اس خوفناک عذاب کا باعث بنے۔
Verse 49-74
The Quraish are directly addressed and warned that they shall end up with the same fate as that of the ashaab-us-shimaal if they persist in their attitude of denying the Prophet (sws). In this regard, a reference is made to certain self-evident arguments which bear evidence to the Day of Reward and Punishment. Such is the nature of these arguments that no excuse but stubborness on their part can deny them.
آیت 49-74
قریش کو براہ راست خطاب کیا گیا ہے اور انہیں تنبیہ کی گئی ہے کہ اگر وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی تکذیب کرنے کے اپنے رویے پر قائم رہیں تو وہ اسی صورت حال کا خاتمہ کریں گے جو اصحاب-شم-شمال کی طرح ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں ، کچھ خودبخود دلائل کا حوالہ دیا جاتا ہے جو جزا اور سزا کے دن کے ثبوت ہیں۔ ان دلائل کی نوعیت ایسی ہے کہ ان کی طرف سے کوئی عذر نہیں لیکن ضد ان کا انکار نہیں کرسکتی۔
Verse 75-96
An indication is made to the exalted status of the Quran and the fact that it is above and beyond the reach of Satan and his agents. The Quraish are again cautioned not to turn a deaf ear towards this sublime message and invite their doom. The fate which this Book is informing them about is a reality. Fortunate are they who will today strive to attain a place among the ashaab-ul-yameen and the saabiqoon-ul-awwaloon; those who will not do so, shall end up among the ashaab-us-shimaal and shall face a grievous penalty.
آیت 75-96
قرآن کی بلند مرتبہ اور اس حقیقت کی طرف اشارہ کیا جاتا ہے کہ یہ شیطان اور اس کے ایجنٹوں کی پہنچ سے بالاتر ہے۔ قریش کو ایک بار پھر متنبہ کیا گیا ہے کہ وہ بہرا کان اس عمدہ پیغام کی طرف نہ پھیریں اور اپنے عذاب کو دعوت دیں۔ اس کی قسمت جس کے بارے میں انھیں آگاہ کر رہی ہے وہ ایک حقیقت ہے۔ خوش قسمت ہیں وہ لوگ جو آج اسحاب العثیمین اور صبیقون الاولون میں جگہ حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کریں گے۔ وہ لوگ جو ایسا نہیں کرتے ہیں ، وہ اشعب ہم شمال میں ختم ہوجائیں گے اور انہیں سخت عذاب کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا۔
